ViaWallet supports adjusting transaction fees (i.e. miner fees) for certain coins, the following tutorial takes BTC as an example.
Step 1: The transaction fee is displayed at the bottom of the transfer information filling page. Tap on the icon to expand the transaction fee adjustment page.
Step 2: The default position of the slider is the current recommended transaction fee amount, you could slide it to the left or right to adjust the transaction fee.
Step 3: You could also switch on the "Custom" mode, and manually enter the transaction fee by referring to the recommended value provided by the system.
Note: When the transaction fee is set too high or too low, the system will give a pop-up reminder.
- If the transaction fee is too low, it may result in the transaction not being packed and processed for a long period of time, and the recipient is delayed in receiving the asset.
- If the transaction fee is too high, it may lead to a waste of transaction fee.
- It is recommended to use the recommended transaction fee, or set a transaction fee slightly higher than the recommended value.
